Ministry of Children and Family Development - Subsidy Evaluator
As a result of the Ministry of Children and Family Development's (MCFD) commitment to service enhancements and providing supports to parents, a new tool called the 'Child Care Subsidy Evaluator' has been added to MCFD's Child Care Subsidy webpage. The purpose of the Evaluator is to provide parents with a pre-assessment tool. This tool assists parents in determining whether or not they may be eligible for child care subsidy. Unlike the Estimator, that was deactivated on the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistances website Oct 1, 2005, the Evaluator will not advise parents of a specific amount of subsidy but will provide them with an indication of whether they may be eligible for child care subsidy and should apply.
